During the first half of the 20th century, American psychology was dominated by two schools of thought, behaviourism and psycho-analysis. While both schools made significant contributions to the field of psychology, neither seriously acknowledged nor explored the inherent dignity of the human person.” (Dr Paul Vitz). In his third talk on the human person, Fr Thomas gives an overview of the contribution from the field of psychology.
