The Christian is called to adore God in an enlightened way. Jesus said “God is spirit and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). The use of the imperative ‘must’ indicates our obligation to discover more about what Adoration is and how best to fulfil this commandment to adore. Fr Thomas concludes by some words about the privileged act of Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.
