ISJ Classes 2021/22

With the new academic year we are looking forward to getting back to meeting in person for the ISJ. We will however continue to make the classes available over the internet (although via YouTube streaming rather than zoom) so as to provide a “hybrid” format, on the St Antony’s parish YouTube channel: youtube.com/c/stantonysfguk . Those following online will be able to post questions in the chat.

With the resumption of in person teaching, it seemed like a good moment to think about our venue. It has seemed to us that a change would be good, allowing us to continue our teaching in a more conducive environment. We are pleased to announce that we are going to be meeting at St Patrick’s, Soho (21A Soho Square, W1D 4NR) in their beautiful downstairs hall. The classes will be on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 12:30 so as to allow participation in the 12:45 mass at St Patrick’s, for those who wish. I hope this will prove convenient to you, Tottenham Court Road station being very close by, and maybe even that it will encourage you to invite participation from other friends for whom Bayswater would not have been convenient.

As security is important at St Patrick’s, we will have to keep the door shut during the class. Those arriving late will have to text a designated participant, who will sit at the back so as to be able to open the gate. There will be a meeting in September to begin the year, for details of the time and location please join the mailing list.
